General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) govern the contractual relationship between reformclub GmbH, Bahnmatt 27, 6340 Baar, Switzerland, hello@reformclub.ch (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”) and its clients.

1. Services, Booking & Payment

The Provider offers Pilates and movement-based services including Small Group Pilates, Private Pilates, Movement Assessments and Postpartum Pilates.

Bookings are made through the Provider’s booking platform or directly with the Provider. The applicable prices and conditions are those shown at the time of booking or purchase.

Passes and bookings are personal and non-transferable. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed or required by law. The Provider reserves the right to make reasonable changes to schedules, instructors and class content.

 

2. Validity of Passes

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase:

• 10-class pass: 4 months

• 20-class pass: 8 months

• 50-class pass: 18 months

Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period without compensation. Extensions may be granted at the Provider’s discretion in exceptional circumstances.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged in full or deducted from the applicable pass.

This policy applies to Small Group classes, Private Pilates sessions and Movement Assessments unless otherwise stated.

 

4. Health & Participation

Participation is at the participant’s own risk.

Clients are responsible for informing the Provider of any injuries, health conditions, pregnancy, recent surgery, pain or other circumstances that may affect safe participation, as well as any relevant changes.

Pilates does not replace medical or therapeutic treatment. Clients are responsible for maintaining adequate health and accident insurance.

The Provider may modify exercises, recommend Private Pilates or refuse participation where there are reasonable concerns regarding safe participation.

The Provider excludes liability for damages caused by slight negligence to the extent permitted by law. Liability for intent or gross negligence remains subject to applicable law.

5. Movement Assessment

Clients who are new to Pilates apparatus training are generally required to complete a Movement Assessment consisting of two 60-minute Private Pilates sessions before joining Small Group classes.

Clients with sufficient previous Pilates apparatus experience may, at the Provider’s discretion, join a Small Group class without completing the Movement Assessment.

The Provider may recommend a Movement Assessment or Private Pilates where this is considered appropriate for safe and suitable participation.

6. Changes & Cancellations by the Provider

The Provider may change or cancel sessions for organisational, operational, health-related or other reasonable reasons.

If the Provider cancels a session, it will not be deducted from the client’s pass. Where applicable, an alternative date or credit will be offered.

The Provider is not liable for services that cannot be provided due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

 

7. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection law and the Provider’s Privacy Policy.

Data may be shared with service providers where necessary for bookings, payments, communication and the provision of services.

8. Studio Rules & Personal Belongings

Clients must follow the applicable studio and safety rules. Grip socks are mandatory during apparatus Pilates classes.

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. The Provider accepts no liability for lost, damaged or stolen items to the extent permitted by law.

Photography, video or audio recordings during classes require prior permission from the Provider.

The Provider reserves the right to exclude clients in the event of inappropriate, disruptive or unsafe behaviour.

 

9. Final Provisions

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland, subject to mandatory statutory provisions.

If any provision of these GTC is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.

The Provider may amend these GTC. Changes apply to future bookings and purchases.
